We decided to take the girls out to breakfast this morning. Since we had the girls, we've only been out to breakfast once and my mom stayed with the girls while we went out. I really miss going out for breakfast - my favorite meal of the day. Today we walked to a small local breakfast place. Luckily they had 3 high chairs - but only 3. We were lucky enough to snag all three during our meal. The next family was able to get ours before their meal came out. It was the slowest service ever. It took at least 5 minutes to get menus and at least another 5-10 minutes to get our drinks. I had to ask the waitress 3 times for water. I finally asked the busboy and he got it for us. There are only maybe 12-15 tables in the entire restaurant and they had plenty of staff to cover them all. I'm not sure what was wrong with our waitress, but luckily the girls were content. We even got a compliment from two people who told us they were impressed with how well behaved the girls were. :-) I wish we would have taken some photos at the restaurant.
When we got back to the house, we let the girls play in the yard until lunch time (which wasn't that long since it took so long to eat breakfast!).
We found these lawn chairs abandoned at the Montessori school on Friday. Score!!
Katie didn't want to be held, but we got a few shots of the girls with daddy (and his car).
