6 month check-up

Yesterday, the girls had their 6 month check up.

Katherine:
     13lbs 5.6oz - 5%
     24.5in - 10%
     41.2cm - 15%

Margaret:
     12lbs 14.6oz - 4%
     24.75in - 10%
     40.9cm - 10%

Isabella:
     12lbs 7.2oz - 3%
     24.25in - 6%
     40.9cm - 10%

The percentiles are all for actual, not adjusted, age.  The girls' pediatrician, who is also a neonatologist, does not believe in using adjusted age.  He encourages them to meet all actual age milestones, which I like.  Isabella was the largest at birth and now she is the smallest - by almost a pound! 

Isn't it strange how they measure height in inches and head circumference in centimeters?  I just don't get it.

In other news - all of the girls are off pacifiers!  In a previous post, I talked about how Margaret was sucking her thumb.  She really only did it that one time.  Now, she sucks on the first and middle fingers of her left hand.  Katherine consistently sucks her left thumb.  Right now, it is very cute, but it won't be cute for long.

The girls are scheduled to go back for a check in 6 weeks, then they will have their 9 month check in November.
