Outings

This past week we made it out of the house twice!  And, what fun we had.  Last Sunday we met up with our friends we met at the NICU (through the support group they started) and their twin boys who are 1 day shy of being exactly one year older than our girls.  Robin took some pictures of their boys playing in the water fountain, and we had margaritas and mexican food on the patio.  We were able to go straight to the patio seating without going through the restaurant.  No one even seemed to notice us.  On the way out, one man did ask if they were triplets.  Ugh!

Today we met up with about 15-20 other triplet families for the STORM (Super Twins of the Rocky Mountains) summer picnic.  It was so nice to spend time with other triplet families who have already been through what we're going through.  I also enjoyed seeing the many different age groups of triplets.  They varied from 3 months old to about 8 years old.  Unfortunately, the picnic was on the hottest day of the year, but we still had a great time.
