Birthday Party

The girls had their birthday party at Little Monkey Bizness yesterday.  They had sooo much fun.  I really enjoyed watching them explore.  Maggie was so independent.  She was always off by herself exploring.  Katie and Izzie spent about 20 minutes on the teeter totter; they couldn't get enough of it.  Katie and Izzie also both made it up and down the big inflatable slide.  The girls hosted 12 of their little friends.  They played in the play area for a little over an hour, and then we moved to the party room for snacks and cake. 

My friend, Kelley, made the MOST AMAZING cakes for the girls.  See No Evil.  Hear No Evil.  Speak No Evil.  Check out the detail on the cakes below.  One was lemon, one was carrot (my favorite!!) and one was chocolate.  I can't thank her enough for all the work she put into the cakes.  Also, her two older daughters were amazing helpers.  They kept a close eye on my girls, and they even helped them get out of some tricky places in the play area.  It would have been more difficult for us without them there.
